Wonderful Staff at the Marriot
The staff and the service has been excellent.
A huge shout out to the chefs here- Chef Subbarao, Chef Diwan and ofcourse Chef Pradyuman; everyone else whose names I can’t remember; the food is amazing- very tasty. Restaurant staff Magdalene, Isha, PC, Kenlong, Manoj and so many others thank you for your wonderful service during this time.
Laundry staff Amrut and Ashwini appreciate your effort. Clothes have always been returned clean and well pressed. Thanks to the housekeeping staff too for an impeccable room to return to after the days work. Appreciate you all and your service. Will certainly recommend and come back here again!

The hotel was great, the food was better, but Mimi was the winner!
One highlight was working with Mimi when I checked in. She gave me a full tour of the hotel and showed me around my suite, including the amenities. After 26 hours of travel, she was a breath of fresh air at the end of a long day. She frequently checked on me to make sure I had everything I needed, and made sure I took advantage of the happy hour when I checked in.
The only challenge was having housekeeping clean my room overnight, instead of during the day. I would sleep during the normal day hours and work in the office overnight. A few times, it was challenging to have my room cleaned overnight while I was at my office.

Best hotel for staycation in Mumbai and Pune
I’m a repeat guest at this property and this time again, the hospitality was absolutely top-notch. Being a Marriott Platinum member, I’ve stayed at quite a few Marriott properties, but the way we were taken care of here was honestly above and beyond.
A special shoutout to Mrinmoyee . She got in touch with me even before we arrived and was constantly in touch throughout our stay. Literally, just a missed call away whenever we needed anything. She was always on her toes to help with every little request, and almost everything we asked for was taken care of. When you’re travelling with family and kids, these small things make a HUGE difference and make you feel genuinely valued as a guest.
We had originally booked a 2BHK and they upgraded us to a 3BHK, which was honestly super helpful for our family. They also did a lovely room decoration for us, completely complimentary. Really thoughtful gesture!
Another thing that really stood out was their generosity. Even small things like the kids’ meals were provided complimentary instead of being charged separately. During happy hours, some of our family members weren’t drinking, and the team still managed to arrange food for them without any extra charge after taking internal approval. The waiter could’ve easily said no, but he went out of his way to help. These are the little gestures that stay with you.
We also had a small confusion about using the stove and the staff came running immediately to help us. Housekeeping was perfect. Honestly, I don’t see much scope for improvement there.
And the food… WOW!
The room decor was lovely, but the best surprise for me was the pastry . I’ve had Pastry at so many places across the world, and I can genuinely say this was easily among my top 3. Super tasty, at least to my taste. I could go on and on about it, but then this review will become a blog
Breakfast was decent too, with no complaints.
For families, they also had some activities for kids, which was really nice. You can see that the team is genuinely thoughtful about family guests. If I had to suggest just ONE thing, it would be a small indoor play area for kids. Even if they could dedicate one small space/room for it, I think it would be a fantastic addition. This place already has so much going for it, and an indoor kids’ area would make it even more family-friendly.
The gym deserves a special mention too. It’s HUGE, very well maintained and beautifully designed. I’ve used gyms at many hotels, and this one definitely impressed me. With this kind of infrastructure, I’d happily come back again.
Also, I really want to recognise the gentleman at the pool. I’m terrible with names, unfortunately, but I remember seeing him around the gym and pool. He was constantly guiding us and giving the right instructions, especially with our kid.
For example, he didn’t allow our daughter to have juice while she was at the pool, and he also advised us not to give her a hot shower immediately after swimming as it could make her unwell. These may sound like very small things, but honestly, how many hotel staff actually pay this much attention to kids and their safety? Really appreciated that level of care.
And finally, a BIG thank you to the gentleman who was in charge at the bar on the evening of 15th August. I’m really sorry I didn’t catch his name. He had a beard and was absolutely fantastic. Please do try to identify him and pass on my appreciation. He genuinely went out of his way to help our family, and I would be really happy if the hotel recognises him internally. These are exactly the kind of people who make a stay memorable.
I can honestly keep writing, but somewhere I have to stop
Overall, one of the most memorable family stays we’ve had. I’ll definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Maybe it won’t directly translate into revenue for the hotel, but the goodwill created by these little gestures stays forever.
Will definitely be back!
