A Wonderful Stay at Pacific Sunset, Palolem

We stayed at Pacific Sunset in January 2026 for our second visit, and it certainly did not disappoint. After such a wonderful experience in 2020, we knew we would return, and we are so glad we did. The resort has grown since our last stay, but very much in the right way. Each chalet and bungalow has clearly been thoughtfully designed, with spacious interiors, very comfortable beds, and hot showers. The views are absolutely spectacular and make the whole experience feel even more special. One of the things we appreciated most was the balance of service: room cleaning was available daily if wanted, and while the team gave guests plenty of space and privacy, they were always on hand whenever anything was needed. It was also lovely to be able to order food and drinks directly to our chalet or enjoy them from a sunbed on the beach, especially during happy hour. The staff were consistently helpful, kind, and thoughtful throughout our stay. Sammi, the on-site manager, was especially helpful, warm, and knowledgeable, and made a real impression on us. Shay, the owner and visionary behind Pacific Sunset, has created a resort that reflects genuine family values, care, and hospitality. It is a truly special place to stay, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Palolem. We will definitely be back. Massive thank you to Shay and the team.

Beautifu beach huts staff amazing

Stayed here for two nights escaping from north goa , this is heaven !
Our room over looked the sea was beautiful,staff excellent food amazing , book directly either hotel for better deal we will next time , they have sun beds in beach , beautiful location , hidden gem we will be back

A gem in Palolem

An amazing beachfront location with fabulous views across the private/public beaches. Fantastic staff (shout out to the lads in the restaurant); excellent food from an extensive menu. Rooms were good with aircon and balcony. (Could do with a little more storage for clothes.) we would recommend and look forward to returning.

Trip to palolem

Lovely accommodation. Very clean. Hot water. Close to small beach cove with boat trips and kayaks. Very nice bar and restaurant. Reasonably priced and wonderful views over palolem beach.
I recommend this accommodation and would not hesitate to book again

Disappointing Stay: Poor Service and Unclean Rooms

I booked this room purely based on YouTube reviews and Agoda recommendations.
Location: 2/5
The approach to the resort is a nightmare—a narrow road with provision for only one car to pass at a time. The parking area is so dingy, you would not get sleep thinking about your vehicle.
Restaurant: Amazing pictures by Agoda stating that you get the best views and amazing food. Sadly they closed it before we arrived for the off-season
Room: Mediocre room with bad interiors. If someone walks in front of your room, the whole floor starts to shake, thanks to the makeshift wooden rooms being sold as premium rooms
Staff: I can't comment because they already left for their off-season break and only one person was available.
Why you should stay away:
1. Agoda sells this property as premium but there will be absolutely zero assistance provided by them in case you run into trouble.
2. Premium rooms: We were 2 adults and 1 kid of 6 years old. Agoda recommended this room saying it would be sufficient for 3 people and you know what I had to get an extra bed and sleep on the floor. Fun fact - i was given a moist extra bed when asked for it. Because it rained the day before so the bed is wet.
I would defiantly not be visiting this property again and neither forget Agoda's help when we were stuck at this property. Agoda customer care stated that they need 72 hours to provide a resolution to my issues and guess what I had booking with the property exactly for 3 nights.
You want to go ahead and stay here, be my guest BUT you would recall my words when you experience it first hand. Cheers!
