Nice hotel with parking facility

We checked in the hotel at around 10 pm. The Staff made the check in process pretty smooth. the rooms were well maintained and clean. bathrooms were also well maintained and clean. beds were cosy. the food was ok.
overall we had a very nice experience. the hotel is located a little away from the main market so you can have great views and peaceful surrounding.

Good place to stay

Lovely staff who were really helpful and attentive. The room was comfy and clean with lots of blankets. The bathroom could have been cleaner, especially the sink. Hot water was good and toilet roll, one towel, toothpaste and soap was provided. You also get 1 bottle of water a day.
One of the real highlights of this place was the fact we got a free cup of tea delivered to our room every morning! So unexpected and so welcome.
The breakfast (we had aloo dum one day and cholla puri another) was excellent. You can buy lunch and dinner there as well. We had dinner there a couple of times and loved it.
It is just a short walk (uphill) into town. And about an hours walk to the makaibari train factory as well (with some great tea and momo stops on the way).
I would definitely recommend staying here.

Located almost opposite our house

Built/conceived/renovated by a Bengali gentleman based in Siliguti.Located on Pankha Bari Road below the Radio station. Some rooms offer glimpses of the Kanchenjunga range. They have a lounge. The rooms have antique furniture. They have a open restaurant. Unfortunately we had gone to enquire about the rooms and tariff.The staff were obliging. I am afraid we didn't do much for third business.Good parking space.

Thank you sir, this property was a British bungalow named merry villa. my ancestors purchased it very long back . however when I got the chance to manage it. I converted it to hotel.

Amazing experience

I stayed in meery vilas last December 17.
It ws amazin. The room is cosy. Its like a home away frm home. Love it.
I suggest u guys to experience a comfy nd cosy hospitality in merry vilas.
Its affordable nd its worth staying in merry vilas....

Worst stay i had ever had in my life!!!

I had been to Kurseong recently and I thought of staying in this Lodge. The receptionist dressed up in black blazer wasn't very open when i complained about the blanket and the bed-sheet. He was not polite at all, the rooms were very dirty and the staff was not hospitable at all. The Receptionist even argued with me saying that he has visited almost every part of the world and he was not ready to listen anything. My advice is please refrain to stay in this lodge, instead opt for some other hotels in Kurseong.

We don't entertain couples without proper identity proofs further it may understand well.
