Our home in Chennai
A very special thank you to Mr Pankaj Behl, Ms Preeti Chugh and Ms Aditi Chakraverty for their exceptional personal attention. What impressed us most was how everything seemed to be anticipated before we even had to ask. On one occasion, when it started raining while we were out, the hotel actually called to check whether we needed a ride back. That simple gesture says so much about the level of care.
We were also very touched to be invited to join the hotel’s Indian Independence Day celebrations. Being included in such a meaningful occasion made us feel less like hotel guests and more like members of the Hyatt Regency Chennai family.
The service was excellent, but more importantly, it was warm, sincere and personal. My family loved our stay and the genuine care shown to us right until we left.
Of course, no hotel gets everything perfect all the time. What makes Hyatt Regency Chennai special is that the team keeps anticipating, keeps trying, and sincerely endeavours to do their very best for their guests. To us, that genuine desire to care matters far more than perfection — and it is what true hospitality is all about.
Thank you, Pankaj, Preeti, Aditi and the entire Hyatt Regency Chennai team. We left feeling that we had not simply stayed at a hotel, but had been cared for by a family. We will certainly be back.

Towels were almost flat. They should replace the entire towel sets.
Staff were all very helpful. Everyone one of them.
Breakfast buffet was decent. Staff in the breakfast buffet appeared to be under pressure from supervisors and that resulted in them getting stressed & forgetting orders like nice, dosa, etc.
Coffee is not nice to my liking. Cappuccino was terrible. Also, no Coffee shop after 10 or 11 pm.In fact, it gets eerily quiet in the lobby area after 10 pn. Would prefer lively environment. A bit disappointed with this.
