Fair price, fair stay, overall satisfying

We arrived at the Hostel on a Saturday evening. First struggle was to find a parking spot, because the hostel doesn't provide as many, considering it is in the old town, it's understandable.
When we finally got to our room on the third floor (we booked the Forum Superior for a week) we were met with a unique design, whereas there was a slope towards the bed and the walls sort of served as storage. The view towards the sea was amazing to wake up to and the night life was pleasant to observe at night.
The Forum Superior came with a mini stove, microwave, kitchen sink, other cooking utensils, plenty of storage opportunities, a private bathroom, a TV, a queen sized bed and of course a table with chairs with a lamp.
Staying in the room was fair; due to the slope you had to watch out to not accidentally slip (the whole floor was made of carpet) and hit your foot against the wall or bed itself. The bathroom left a little room to complain with as well, since the was rust building on the bottom of the shower and the drain didn't properly work. On the other hand however we had the opportunity to change our towels every day if needed, had our toilet paper refreshed and the room itself tended to be fairly clean. It was fairly loud in the evening due to the night life in the old town, which is understandable, but it is manageable nevertheless.
Considering the price of ~62€ per night per person (for us it was ~737€ in total) the stay was absolutely worth it, IF we had been given a parking spot.
Final tip from me: Try booking a room in April, as there are less tourists there and it's cheaper, and the weather not as unbearably hot like in the summer.

Good value for money

The room we booked was lovely, air con was amazing in the heat! Good value for money and great location. Only reason why this isn’t a 5-star stay is the club that is underneath/ next door kept us up all night which wasn’t ideal as we had to be up super early the next day

Felt uncomfortable

They really need to have an option for all female dorms. I booked solo hoping to make friends within my dorm but three old men checked in and it made me uncomfortable to share a space with these people. I understand that is the risk you take when booking a hostel but other hostels have all female dorm options. Also the shower was moldy, the walls of my bed were dirty and it is very very cramped inside. I will not be staying here again.

Excellent location right in the old town moments from the sea. Fast WiFi. Good aircon but no ability to open windows for fresh air. The private room was an awkward shape, ok for one person would be hard to fit two people with luggage. Not many plug points. When I checked in didn’t have towels (didn’t receive until next day) and the previous guests contents were in the fridge still so attention to detail was lacking.

Location was great in the middle of Zadar. Room was small and bathroom was smaller , but it was clean. Breakfast was very good. My room seemed to be able to hear everything in another room through the air duct …odd.
