agree with the review:"Great rates and a decent place to stay....”

We stayed one night in this motel, since the last bus to Split never came on a Sunday evening...
We called at 11:00pm to book a room, and the owner kindly waited for us.
Let's say it directly: this is a hotel **, so don't expect a clim in your room, and there was no TV in our room neither.But the motel itself has this nostalgic mood of ex-yougoslavian motel: in fact, this is lovely!
The room was very clean, like the hotel itself.
Primosten could be a good sport for people who are travelling thru Croatia and want to have a "one night stop", and this motel has the best price for the town: for less than 40€, you can have a room for 2!
The big "plus" was the kindnes of the owner, who advises us the best beach and places in town...

Very good budget hotel with friendly, helpful owner.

Very good budget hotel with friendly, helpful owner. Shower in the corridor. Good free parking and about 10 -15 minutes stroll to town-centre. Cash only payment. It was clean and spacious and since I didn't spend much time awake in the room, I was completely satisfied paying E 40/night in mid-Sept 2024.

Small old town and the beach are a hidden gem

We had a small room with a sea/street view balcony, our bathroom was outside the room and we had a key just for us. Shared fridge outside the room (our breakfast stayed there overnight). Free parking. Things to improve - towels and air conditioning (we are thankfull for a table fan in our room). It was highest season period, so our room cost was 58.96, including city tax for 2.
Happy to read in other travellers review that host is planning a renovation - the beach here was one of the best (cleanest and beautiful) that we saw during our Balkan trip. Looking forward to return to this amazing beach and to renovated place of very-very hospitable and charming Marko.

OK for an overnight stay

Nothing has changed since 2012 I guess. Thus I agree with the earlier reviews: Vila Primo is just a simple motel with good rates. No TV, shower outside of the room on the other side of the hallway, no A/C, only a table fan. Since the rooms look towards South-West it’s getting really hot on blazing summer days. This is why I couldn’t give a better rating than “average”.
Daniel is really a very friendly host. He gave me lots of good hints where to go in Primosten.
This review will be obsolete in a few months. As Daniel told me he’s going to carry out a full renovation of the house during this winter. So next year everything will be different.

Great rates and a decent place to stay....

Close and relatively central to various attractions in the vicinity. The rooms are clean and decent sized. Ours was overlooking the old town of Primosten, very picturesque. The town is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the motel. I was suprised to find a whole family of small turtles in one of the gardens of the hotel, where they constantly live, as turtles are allowed as pets in Croatia. The people who run the motel are very friendly and accomadative of your needs.
