Hvar Happiness

Nice property, but could use some help with guest services.
Pros:
- close to all the harbor FUN
- clean
- extras nice (beach towels, water, extra shampoo, extra pillows, blankets, kitchen needs, frig)
Cons:
- only CASH payments accepted at property - be prepared
- bath towels were sandpaper-like
- 175 vertical stairs to climb from the port
- no one on property when we arrived and therefore no understanding of the check-in procedure or where to go (disappointing after lengthy travel)
- management could be more involved in delivering a positive guest experience - “owning” errors on their end

Beautiful

Excellent location! Close to the ferry port and walkable to a few beaches! Host was so welcoming and kind. A great shower and AC are what we look for most when we stay and they did not disappoint! Also had a cute little garden area outside our room. A heads up that there are so many stairs to get around so think about how big of a luggage you really need to bring!

Super!

Super location, people, room and the cutest dog keeping us company every morning.
Would reccomend to hire a scooter and travel around the hvar Island. Stari grad was a Great place to visit, and many Nice beaches around.

Wonderful stay!

Solo traveller, I had an excellent stay at Villa Milton. I stayed for two nights, the owners friendly daughter let me in and gave me a ton of recommendations for the island which was helpful. The room was wonderful, you couldn't need much more, the grounds were full of gorgeous trees, plants, fruit trees, I had a balcony overlooking part of the ocean, the room was so comfortable, bathroom was great too. I didn't use the kitchen facilities but grateful to have them there. It is slightly up a hill so as long as you don't mind a hill or two (which if you're in Hvar you should be expecting it) then you'll be absolutely fine! I have no complaints, I loved Hvar and this place!

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Villa Milton. Our host was exceptional - providing excellent food and beach recommendations and accommodating our request for an additional night! We stayed in the superior apartment with balcony/terrace, and the views from that room are exactly as pictured. Simply gorgeous! We truly did not want to leave our little oasis.
While the Villa is located quite near the old town city center, the spectacular view wouldn’t be possible without it’s height. There are many steps required to/from this location - so it may not be very accessible for some travelers. But given the terrain of the island, you will have to deal with many steps unless you stay at the Palace Elizabeth on the main riva.
We hope to return to Hvar and Villa Milton some day! Thank you for a great stay.
