Impressed with our hostess

Maria was an amazing hostess. She held our bags for us as we had a late check out, she provided us (without asking) with umbrellas when it was raining. The location was very clean and accessable to downtown. We would stay here for sure again.

Started off good

Dani was very welcoming at the start, we paid him and he offered us a glass of wine and showed us a map and advice on things to do. He then said to take some wine throughout our stay as we were staying there for 4 days and paid alot for our Terrance apartment. He also said if we needed to use the iron or even do a wash to come upstairs to the laundry room.
Throughout our stay we used the iron nearly every night before we went out to iron clothes, one day I asked could I do a wash and he said I'd been doing washing every day, I explained no I had just been ironing obviously we never had much washing as we just got there. He was very rude in manner when I was trying to explain that he probably got mixed up.
Then that night we sat outside our apartment and he stared at us as he was going outside making us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome.
During our duration I asked for clean towels one day as we were staying for 5 days and were showing alot again this was made out as a major request. We never had any bed changes or even had our bin emptied. I never asked for clean towels again as it was such a big ordeal to get us some. Mare also was there and never said hello or even introduced herself. I dreaded coming back to this apartment. My advice if u decide to stay here is don't pay them before your stay as they treat their guests awful as soon as the money is handed over.
Check out is at 11 and at half 10 he was at our door tapping his wrist. We left then as I just couldn't stand to stay a minute longer.

Best place we stayed at during our trip!

What a wonderful stay! Dani and Mare made our Croatian experience truly unforgettable. Everything was perfect - from the accommodation to the location - you can access the beaches using the hotel down the road's lift. They also make their own wine so, be sure to try it - it was delicious!
Really can't fault our stay at Apartments Mare - we are genuinely brought to tears when we think of the time we spent there.
Dani even paid for our taxi because we didn't have enough cash on us at the start - and we just paid him back at the end.
Thank you both! We'll definitely be back :)

Great Rooms and Stunning Views

Mare and Dani were fantastic hosts. They made us feel very welcome and even picked us up from the Ferry Port and dropped us back on the day of departure. We spent a nice evening having a glass or two of their own white wine which was really nice. The location of the apartment is great with only a short walk into the Old Town and a few minutes down to the best swimming areas and of course Hula Hula bar. The terrace overlooking the islands is a really great addition to be able to have breakfast in the morning and some drinks in the evening to watch the sunset
