Amazing Rijeka...

If you are looking for one hostel in Rijeka you must choose this one because you cannot find better than that. The organisation is composed of few women and it's fantastic. The place is very nice, clean and comfortable. Here you can find nice sporting people, young football players, tourists from all over the world, workers and families. The hostel is quite big and there are special rooms for conference and events.
I really recommend this amazing place.

Reality check in Rijeka

After a stressful journey on the Slovenian/Croatian railway, we arrived to the hostel desperate to refresh.
Unfortunately for us, our receptionists greeted us with 21 questions, including our relationship status and bed size preference. Inappropriate for two friends xx
We got to our room, which initially was okay. It has working aircon, was clean and had a stunning view of the Croatian coast.
The luxuries would end there. The hostel had two main guest bathrooms (gender fluid). They lacked basic cleanliness and upon awakening on our second morning, looked as though big foot had had a full Brazilian in the shower. This, along with other poor cleanliness left the bathrooms near unusable for anyone with self respect.
Another point of note is that the hostel felt more like a youth community centre than a hostel. We were the only non Croatian guests (to our knowledge) and social interaction was non starter.
It was also fairly distant from Rijeka old town with poor public transit options other than taxis/Uber (don’t get me started on Rijekas Uber scene).
Not suitable for anyone. Period.

A jem in the city.

A beautyfull place.Not in the centre,but some people like it that way.The staff is frendly.It is very near to the highway and has a wonderfull view over the whole city and islands of Krk and Cres and Opatija.We'll be back soon for sure.And it is pet friendly.Our dog slepped in the room with us.
Thank you Češka Beseda for being there for us.

Sleep

We are stay one night in this hostel. Rooms are clean but without tv or toalet in rooms. Wifi is free and good. If you not needed more hostel is for you and price is correct. Staff is friendly . No breakfest and mising restourantes. Hostel is not near to centar. If you go with your car it is dificultes find the street with this hostel.

Perfect view and a perfect sleep

I traveled with a friend and 3 kids. We stayed for just one night and everything was really great. Place is quite new, the bathroom with a shower was clean as well as rooms, and on the top of all our rooms had a such a stunning view. The neighbourhood is very quiet and we had nice sleep.
