Greek hospitality in an exclusive place

We were guests for eight days.
There is no better choice in Paros.
From Piso Livadi if you arrive anywhere in Paros, without the car you miss all the beauty of the island which is full of wonderful beaches.
The nice thing is to come back, after a trip to the beaches, then home in the evening and have a nice aperitif from the terrace with the wonderful view of Naxos and then cook something or go for a dinner in some tavern in the neighboring villages or even in Piso Livadi itself.
The location is exceptional, because you are in an exclusive quiet place that is not in the hyper touristic and crowded area of the island and above all a breathtaking priceless view. Cleaning every day. The owner offered us a lemonade and also coffee with cookies made by her and Vlassis is a very kind noble person of yesteryear.
We have toured several islands, but such a beautiful view is very difficult to find from the place where you are staying.

Make sure you know what you are getting

We got off to a bad start - there was nobody there when we arrived (it was early October). I found the owner's number and rang him, but he didn't seem to know about our booking. He asked what the rate was that Expedia had quoted. He then said he would send his father to sort it out. Father arrived (couldn't speak any English). Fortunately my Greek is enough to get by. He showed us a room that was dingy and drab then told us on the phone that we could have a sea view room for an extra 10 euros a night - we saw it and took it. The next day the owner's mother arrived and everything changed - she was marvellous! From a disappointing start to a great level of service. Recommended, but make sure you know what you are getting!

Typically Greek!

We felt at home in this accommodation and took Rukia - the chambermaid from Ghana - to our hearts. Together with "Papa", the senior boss, the two took things slowly in the Greek style and all wishes were fulfilled. You should definitely visit the monastery of Antonios, it is worth seeing and you have a great view from the 218 m high mountain.

Best location, comfortable and relaxing rooms, quite ,ample with great hospitality and service! Though very windy in Paros , the rooms do not suffer even if you sit at the terrace.
Made our stay perfect !

Please be aware if you are a young solo female traveler!!

Vlassis was nice during my stay and accommodating, but he did sexually harass me! I was dropped to the port by him to get a taxi to Antiparos for the day and he kissed me on the lips without my consent. I did not understand where it came from? I am young and enjoying my solo stay and he made me extremely uncomfortable. Before this in his car he was very touchy with my face and kept telling me I was pretty.
During my last day in the hotel I was headed to drop off keys in the reception Vlassis was with other guest showing them their rooms and while they walked to the room he asked me, “Why are you leaving?” And then tried to kiss me again! And began touching my breast and private area in front of guests. He asked me to come to the private room with him and stay with him for a little while before I go to the airport. Of course, I refused all of this!
Please, if you are a young woman solo traveling do not stay here. I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life having a man older than my father trying to take advantage of me.
