Great place
Great place. Not as fancy as some of the other places but much preferred as they are spacious, have light, a wonderful view, good value for money, clean and are central. Any issues are sorted quickly. We were very happy with our stay. Within a short walk you are at the beach and the bus stop and restaurants. If I returned I’d choose this place again.

TERRIFYING STAY AWAY
TERRIFYING!!!!ITALIANS STAY AWAY! Dirt, cockroaches, the bathroom an indecent thing, in 4 days they never came to clean nor ever changed towels! Uncomfortable bed and pillows! They rude and not at all hospitable! we arrived in the evening after 10 even the Toilet paper we found! We asked several times to clean the bathroom with poor results! We asked to be able to use the washing machine that was in the apartment and were told it was broken! In Frizer remnants of leftover meat!!! we had to do 8 nights after 4 we escaped while losing money!!! after 6 summers in Greece an average of 3 islands in summer this pesto is the worst ever!

Cheap but cheerful.
Arrived a little early but was welcomed and given my room. Wasnt in an apartment but was given a section of the house with connecting doors locked. It came with a huge traditional greek Kitchen with lovely throw-open windows. Lovely view across the little courtyard. Big bedroom although rather dark as the window was high up. The bathroom was dated but why worry? At 30 euros a night it harked back to island life 40 years ago and I loved it. Wifi worked. Located at the back of Lipsi which normally is a minus but not here as you get to walk through the beautiful village to the harbour every evening. Just try to enjoy old-style Greece before it's gone.

Nice room, owner could work on his attitude
Studio Anna is located centrally in the little town of Lipsoi. Our room was an average room, fine for its price. Clean, which is important. We were greeted by a guy and his daughter and they were very helpful and friendly. What was not nice about our experience is that they charged us more for the room at check out. When I asked why, an older guy (probably the owner) told us that they gave us a better room, which we never asked and also they didn’t inform us about that. Also, he told me that we had booked for one extra night which is simply not true because I called them before arrival to double check. We didn’t appreciate his attitude at all, but if you’re looking for a short stay at a basic cheap room is fine. Just make sure that your agreement is somewhere on paper.

Oh dear !!
We booked to stay 2 nights here, 21st and 22nd July, we booked it online through Booking.com. We were spending 2 weeks in Leros and this was a mini break to see another Greek Island, the next one along , 30 minutes by ferry.
One of the terms of the booking was that we paid the fee on arrival which was €50 for the 2 nights, sounds remarkable, believe me you get what you pay for in this life.
On arrival at Lipsi Port, we were collected by the owner and driven to the accommodation and taken to the room. It was a bit of a shock when he opened the door to the room, saying it was compact was an understatement.
The owner kept saying to us that the room and bed were small also that the bathroom was small, think he was trying to get to take a bigger, obviously more expensive room.
The room was so small the fridge door could not fully open without hitting the end of the bed. Also the the French doors could not open fully with hitting the dressing table and bedside cabinet. It was difficult for 2 adults to move about.
The mattress was wafer thin on the smallest double bed ever, there was a duvet and blanket on top of the wardrobe which we placed on the mattress then covered with the sheet. The bedding could have been white once, it now had a grey hue.
Not sure when the fridge was last cleaned, the freezer compartment door was missing, so it froze and then some would melt. There were drops of water in the fridge which eventually leaked out through the door seal rusting the door on the outside.
There was no kettle in the room, had to use a saucepan to boil water to make tea, we wash everything before we used it.
We had a balcony that could hardly accommodate 2 small stools or 2 adults.
Suppose the most notable positive was that there was air conditioning included in the room rate. It was a bit antiquated and did not function to full capacity, but much better than nothing.
The town, Port area was amount 5 minutes walk away down the road and then some steps, quicker to walk than drive all the way around the streets.
There was no television in the room, not required but just pointing out the lack of one.
From the landing in front of our door there was a nice view of the small Church, Panagia - Virgin Mary.
The key was in the door of the room nextdoor to ours, it was unoccupied, so we had a look inside, it definitely was bigger and had 2 normal sized single beds.
On the ground floor the was a courtyard area with tables and chairs where guests could sit under the shade of lemon trees.
There was free WIFI.
Two nights here was enough, any longer and we would have looked for alternative accommodation, basic Greek, 20 years ago.
