Hotel Penelope is a family-run hotel, located on the south-east coast of Corfu, in the small fishing village of Boukari, only 60 meters away from the sea. Corfu Town is 23 km away and Achilleion Palace is at 12 km.

A unique vacation.

We were able to experience a unique vacation here. This hotel is truly family-run. From the reception, through the support during the vacation, and up to the departure, the guest is truly the focus here. Wishes are read from the eyes before they even appear in them. We can highly recommend the hotel. It is suitable for couples, families, etc. The family that runs the hotel really does so with heart and soul. Just as they also run the tavern and the car rental. What we experienced here was perfect hospitality. Tips for beaches, excursions, etc. are included, just as is the concern for the well-being of the guests.

Lovely authentic Greek hotel.

A lovely authentic friendly Greek hotel. Great value, simple but well fitted bedroom and very clean. Nice pool area, very quiet. Lovely breakfast and their fish restaurant at the water’s edge was superb. Kostas was very welcoming and we would definitely recommend.

A wonderful stay at Hotel Penelope

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel Penelope in Boukari. The hotel sits in a stunning location surrounded by lush greenery, right beside a pebbly beach with crystal‑clear Ionian waters and views across to mainland Greece. It’s peaceful, picturesque, and perfect for a relaxing break.
Our room was spacious and cleaned daily, with a lovely balcony to enjoy the scenery. The entire property is well maintained, and the pool area is gorgeous — calm, quiet with plenty of sun beds and parasols and supported by well‑stocked self‑service bars.
Breakfast was excellent every morning. The buffet offered plenty of choice, and the homemade cakes were absolutely delicious. A perfect start to each day.
What truly makes this hotel special is the family who run it. Costas and his beautiful family are attentive, friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. Their hospitality is exceptional — staying here feels like visiting friends rather than staying in a hotel.
Boukari is known for its seafood, and the nearby Boukari Beach Taverna , where we were met with such friendliness and warmth, serves wonderful meals right by the water. Fresh, flavourful, and unforgettable. Car hire is available directly from Costas, making it easy to explore more of Corfu’s coastline and charming villages.
Hotel Penelope is a true gem — peaceful, spotless, welcoming, and full of heart.

Great small peaceful hotel

This is a great small hotel run by a friendly owner who has your best interest at heart. Any problems, he will fix straight away and with a smile. The hotel pool is just lovely, never busy and no loud music. The pool bar is well stocked and is run on an honesty basis, so if no one there, get your own drinks and write down what you have had. Have some cash handy to pay up at the end of your stay or on a daily basis. Buffet breakfast has something for everyone with differences each day. Two minute walk to the nearest tavernas and jetty, but worth the 10 min walk to the family taverna Boukaris Beach. Great stay, highly recommended.

Beautiful Seafood.

If you’re in to your seafood then this place is for you. All the staff and owner were very welcoming. The food was full of flavour and I honestly just beautiful, relaxing atmosphere and stunning scenery. Would 100% recommend!!
