Consigliatissimo!

The stay here was extremely pleasant, the room was comfortable and clean. We stayed 11 days and had 3 linen changes, including the day of arrival and frequent cleaning of the room. Ms. Sofia welcomed us very pleasantly and made us find welcome treats and during the stay very good cookies. The terrace outside the room and 'really comfortable, with a spectacular view of the mountain and the sea, very suitable for quiet dinners enjoying the sunset. With comfortable space also x spread towels and clothes to dry. In the evening it was cool and even in the room there was no need to turn on the air conditioning, the ceiling fan was enough. Very quiet area but with a nearby rooster that gave us the alarm around 6, useful to start the day early!
Ms. Sofia was very kind and discreet, very helpful; on the way back she accompanied us with her car to the bus stop for the airport. Definitely a place to recommend and return!!!

A wonderful place to stay

Sofia's studios is a lovely hotel. The views are spectacular. Since you a just above the village, you get a view of the beach and the mountains. It's very peaceful and serene, but the wonder of it is that you are still very close to the beach and the village, only 300 metres away.
Sofia herself is a fantastic hostess. She's friendly, and is always eager to make you happy despite the fact that her english is limited. She even let us stay in her own apartment when the hotel was fully booked and we didn't have a place to stay for a night.
I thoroughly reccomend it.

Best hospitality ever!!

We stayed at Sofia's for 3 days!
Excellent hospitality! Fresh linen and towels.
Just a 2 minutes walk to the beach!!!
Local shops are very close and the bust station!!
Recommended if you don't want to have a car!
Breathtaking view!
Will go back next year.

Super spot

Sofia's basic studios are clean and comfortable. Sofia is a fabulous lady with a super sense of humour. Always cheerful and helpful. We arrived on Easter Saturday night and she had left us a loaf of Easter bread, traditional Easter eggs, cheese pies and loads of fruit, which was a super surprise. The view from the terraces and balconies is superb and as it is slightly out of Kalives up the hill it's nice and quiet.
Thanks Sofia, we really enjoyed our stay xxxxxx

You get what you pay for!

Just had a night there and was not impressed.
The room itself was very dated but it was extremely clean, the linen very crisp and the towels fresh.
There was a very powerful smell in the room which had us coughing all night. I think it was some kind of spray for bugs as there were worms everywhere. I had to shake everything as I packed it as I was scared I would be taking the worms home with me!
The shower had no curtain and so became a hazard after showering, although on a pleasant note, the water was very hot as there was a boiler.
Compared to other hotels in the area this was the cheapest by far. We only stayed 1 night so we put up with it, but I wouldnt have stayed for a week.
The location was ok and the staff pleasant enough.
Bottom line is you get what you pay for I guess. Next time I think i will pay the extra and go elsewhere!
