La Pointe Camping, a property with a garden, is set in Châteaulin, 27 km from Breton County Museum, 27 km from Quimper Train Station, as well as 48 km from Brest Naval Museum.

Always amazing
This was our 5th stay since 2022. This camping site has always been fabulous and and one of our favourites. seeing it evolve over the years has been really nice.
Almost feels like we are family now.
Its obvious the owner Vikki and the handyman Mike deeply love the site.
Even with the heat this week they were both working hard looking after the guests (its like they are never off duty) and keeping the site exceptionally clean, looked after and well maintained. Gardens and grounds are beautiful.
As always an absolute pleasure and we are already planning our next visit.

Camp in Nature peaceful and quiet.
Wow what a lovely campsite. Lots of trees and shade and Nature with the little Robbins birds hopping at our feet waiting for a breadcrumbs to fall, it was so sweet. Little stream of water running at the back of our campsite. Amenities very clean . A bar where you can get refreshments . Owners are very friendly. Got Croissants and Bread fresh every morning, ordered night before. Lovely walk along the river into town of Châteaulin. Can get all your shopping at LeClerk big supermarket at the end of town walking distance. Quiet and peaceful site. Big pitches. Would 100% recommend. Enjoyed a week stay.

Little gem of a site!
Genuinely one of my favourite campsites I've been to. The site and pitches are spacious, the hosts are so lovely. The site is surrounded by nature we saw a hedgehog wanding into camp, could hear owls at nights.
Facilities are excellent. Clean showers, fridge/freezers available to use, charging facilities, a lovely games room/library. A little on site bar and a crepe van that arrives and the option to order pastries and fresh bread each day was amazing.
Location is excellent, you can walk into town along the river, Crozon, Quimper are all short drives away, some beautiful beaches near by too.

We have recently had a really lovely stay at Camping la Pointe just outside Chateaulin in the Finestre region of Brittany. Mike and Vicky, the hosts, are some of the most welcoming, helpful and hospitable people you could come across and we were very sad to be moving on from their site. We had a really warm welcome from Mike on arrival and were shown to our pitch and given some information about the site. The pitches are very varied which makes the site more interesting than some we’ve stayed on. Some are 2 pitches together with no middle division but have hedges either side of the area. Some others have 4 pitches together with hedges between them. Some are single pitches hedged off. We were on a 2 pitch area and had a very spacious pitch and lovely Dutch neighbours sharing the area with us. There is a one way system for vehicles in operation on site which makes it very safe. The facilities are really excellent. The shower block has been refurbished very thoughtfully in recent years. There is a chair in each very roomy shower cubicle with a very useful shelf in the area you change in. The shower itself is curtained off and there is another shelf in there for you to put your shampoo, gels etc on. This means that you’re not trying to balance everything on a little soap dish or having to put things on the floor. There is plenty of hot water available whatever time of day you shower. The toilets are very clean and there’s ample little rooms with basins and also an area of open basins along with a separate section with urinals. There is a bar, a lovely little garden area with a table and chairs set in shade, a pétanque pitch and chickens who will eat a lot of things! There is a walk from the site into Chateaulin along the Nantes-Brest Canal and there is a cycle path on the other side of the canal.

Highly Recommend!!
A lovely site, run by excellent hosts! Interesting pitches with plenty of privacy, decent facilities, including a lovely wee bar and fresh bread each morning to order. Located walking distance from a pleasant town and very convenient to Roscoff.
