one day stopover in Aarhus at Camping Aarhus (3 to 6 June 2019)

Excellent campsite, with well appointed facilities. very friendly and helpful owners, who went out of their way to be helpful. it's a perfect location to visit aarhus right on a bus route. buses are every 15 mins. also within walking distance of the city tram-line. We would highly recommend the site as a stoper for travellers to North Denmark or to the ferry for Norway.

Close to nature but expensive

We were warmly welcomed. Basically, the campsite was very quiet. The kitchen was very clean. We camped on the tent meadow, here we were almost alone. It was very natural.
However, the negative of this location is that neither the city nor the beach are within walking distance.
However, the space is disproportionately expensive.
No water temperature could be set for the showers. Besides, you couldn't stop the water. It ran through the 4 minutes. Whether you're under it or not.

Cosy camping spot

A few miles outside of the second latgest city of Denmark, Aarhus, lies this rather small, but very cosy, camping place. They have cabins, places for wagons, vans and tents. During the summer you can enjoy the pool for relaxing. They even have a restaurant with decent food and a small shop with all the basics you need for your stay. Staff is friendly and the area itself is very nice. Short ride to Aarhus city by car, there's even regular local busses... If you're looking for a nice relaxing spot for a night, a few days or a holiday, this is a great choice. Lots of interesting smaller and bigger cities to visit nearby...

Visiting the University of Aarhus. Lovely food at the fruit market, a wonderful botanical garden and lots of fun!

Nice place, nice shopping area, good food en lovely animals! Even saw a house from the king?
Aarhus is a nice place for have a good walk. Perhaps take a jump in the sea if you dear!
The camping is all fine, just be quiet in the evening!

Good campsite

Well run campsite with good facilities, cafe, little shop and shaded pitches. But we did find that you had to pay extra for everything - showers, electricity, washing machine, wifi, but it was pretty good value for all that.
