Comfortable nights

Friendly staff, spacious room, big windows, good heating, great bed, warm shower, free parking, big lobby, quiet, a delight after many nights in simpler accommodation. Breakfast is below par, though, and Wifi slow and signal bad in places.
Nonetheless we extended our stay from one to four nights to explore the Laguna Santa Rosa N.P., the local museum, the Cerro Medanoso big dune and the San Jose mine, where 33 miners where rescued with the Fenix2 capsule after a two
month mission on Oct, 13 2010.

Luxurious nights between Mountaineering Excursions

My friends and I stayed here for five nights in total, at various times between Mountaineering trips to above 6000 metres. This hotel offered total luxury and is ideally situated near the central plaza. Bedrooms were spotlessly clean, spacious and had a good air con unit (however, the WiFi in some rooms is hopeless). Both breakfasts and dinners were substantial and very tasty, ideal for hungry mountaineers. All staff were polite and efficient and reception staff had superb English. And the price was very reasonable too, considering Sterling is rather weak against the Chilean Peso. If you visit, you absolutely must have coffee and cake in the delightful cafe next to the hotel.

Solid option

This is a modern business type hotel in a very central location and we had nothing to complain about. Our room was nice with an appropriate bathroom. It was clean an quiet. Wifi worked good, not lightning fast, though. Breakfast was OK, staff was friendly. They would even get me a real coffee from the downstairs café.

No Wifi in the rooms / Habitaciones sin WiFi

Wifi services is bad. They change my room because the wifi signal was awfull. The trouble became worst in the new room. The solution that they gave me was a new room with a high signal, but unuseful: It marks connected but without internet.
Of course the fabulous SmartTV into the rooms can not be used as SmartTV.
The rooms has not have iron, but a pay per iron service.

El wifi es pésimo. Me cambiaron de habitación porque la señal es malísima. El problema empeoró en la nueva habitación. La solución fue otra habitación con una altísima señal, pero inútil: Conectado pero sin internet.
Por supuesto el buen SmartTV que tienen las habitaciones no sirve como SmartTV.
Además no tiene plancha por habitación, sino un servicio de planchado por pagar.

We always work in this service to give our client a good experience. Clearly we need a lot of extra work in this.

Lovely!

I loved the very large room. Lovely staff members, accommodating even from before I arrived at the hotel. Prompt to reply to emails with queries.
Well located, across a police station and steps from the square.
