Renovated hotel

A renovated hotel with convenient parking and a nice convention center and event hall. The access to the halls is not very convenient if you need to load equipment or advertising materials, but the staff is friendly.The restaurant serves semi-finished products. The guests of the outdoor pool are children and teenagers from the neighborhood.

Best to book another four star hotel not SPS renovated for nothing

You pay 500lv but get a room as if it were pension but when you book online get a nicer room and I am here to vacation not to work or other that I get a small room.
They don't clean properly either

Launch pad to the city centre

Hadnt heard of this major city before now. Presently surprised. The hotel was quite plush by my standards and reasonably priced. Staff as sincerely helpful as can be. Has a large pool too. And opposite is a massive hypermart called METRO where you can buy bits and pieces. The value of the sterling, BREXIT inclusive, was 2:1 and transportation costs were very decent. The main city centre itself is also as clean as a plate!
Curiously, a train and coach trip takes relatively the same amount of time from Sophia, the capital. Be advised also that some trains stop at each station and others are direct.
Stumbled upon a large park very close to the hotel, sheltered by a long line of trees.
This particular visit was with a small group of Christian brethren to an RCCG parish there. In addition was able to see quite a few of the sites and was not disappointed by the experience, at all! Have to revisit at some point by His Grace.
Finally, hope you have a pleasant experience too, when you make up your mind and are not too fixated by the socialist era hype!

cheap and old hotel

If you don't have place to sleep this is the last place! Very old! Not clean, only for workers that must sleep somewhere, no matter where and they didin't pay. Their company pays! If you want to remember how it was 40 years ago, go there!

Nice clean hotel with swimming pool available for small fee. Easy to find, plenty of parking and not to far to walk into old town (30/40 min). Would definitely stay here again when visiting Plovdiv
