Edifício Creta
Located in São Luís, Edifício Creta is near a boardwalk/promenade. Port of Itaqui and Valparaiso AcquaPark are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Ponta d'Areia Beach and Calhau Beach. Tropical Shopping and Ceuma University are two other places to visit that come recommended. While you're here, you can enjoy all the comforts of home and more, including a full-sized refrigerator/freezer and a stovetop, as well as free WiFi and a Smart TV. Other amenities include premium bedding, a freezer, towels, and kitchenware and utensils.

Good 1 night stay before Lençois
Breakfast was good, served at 7am. No idea if it was good value as it was booked by our friends! But if you are staying for a night in Sao Luis then it’s good - close to beaches and bars etc.

Undue interruption in the room during rest period and lack of compensation
On the day **9 May 2026**, we used a daily at **Hotel Creta, in Saint Louis/MA**, paying for the use of a room, although our intention was to stay only until approximately **17:30 on the same day**. That is, even using for a few hours, we pay for the entire daily, precisely to have privacy, comfort and tranquility to rest.
When we arrived, we normally received the key to the room and we were seen by two employees entering the apartment to rest. However, at **15:37h**, while we were sleeping, another employee tried to open the door of the room and called for us, completely interrupting our sleep and rest we had paid for.
The situation caused us great discomfort, as we were in the room legitimately, with paid daily, and we expected the minimum of internal organization so that the staff knew the apartment was busy. The episode demonstrated a lack of communication and lack of care with the guest's privacy.
What most disappointed us was the position of the management, which, despite what happened, did not offer any compensation, courtesy or adequate solution for the disorder caused. We considered that there was a failure, because the main purpose of the lodging was just to rest, and this rest was interrupted by a failure of the hotel itself.
In view of this, I register my dissatisfaction and expect a formal positioning of the Hotel Crete, as well as an adequate compensation for the embarrassment and the breach of tranquility during the paid daily.
