Our new favourite in the Ardennes

Orivage is just the perfect spot for us. We arrived after a busy work week and were warmly welcomed by Jacques, the owner. Jacques loves his job and is such a friendly, caring person. The B&B itself is charming and immaculate... Our room was quite large with a brand new shower (love that) and a wonderful view of the river Meuse. The bed was also heavenly, so we slept like a log. We also liked the communal areas : nice to hang out, have a chat with Jacques and try one of the excellent beers... all that with the most relaxing and rewarding view.
We have visited a lot of places in the Ardennes but this one is on top of our list now ! !
Oh I almost forgot : breakfast was super as well - lots of homemade and local goodies, fresh bread ... excellent.

Fantastic View, Food, Hospitality

This is the perfect spot to unwind, we had great weather so could relax in the garden with a couple of wines from the bar. Jacques is a very welcoming host and a fantastic chef, so I’d recommend staying in for the dinner. The breakfast is very good also. For the garden you have a good view of the river. You can enjoy a stroll along the river bank. Our room was spacious and well decorated, parking onsite.

A perfect place to stay

A stunning place to stay.
The house is separated from the road with gardens that look out directly over the river. Very peaceful. Sitting in the garden enjoying an evening drink was a perfect start to our trip to the Ardennes. The owners are relaxed and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with homemade jams. We would recommend the delicious evening meal or there are options to eat nearby.
The house is smartly decorated and rooms overlooking the river keep providing a changing view.
The facilities are excellent with spacious rooms and a great shower. We had two very good night's sleep. Our only concern was the toilet which opens to the bedroom space with no door - but perhaps this is something less reserved guests will not worry about!
Hard to imagine a better place to stay - we certainly intend to go back.

Trip to visit our daughter

The Geit, O'Rivage is absolutely beautiful! We had a stunning view of the river from our room, which as large and spacious with a very comfortable bed and bathroom. The decor was very unique and felt like home.
There was a nice rain shower, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer as well. The bedroom had two chairs and a table along with a flat screen TV mounted on the wall. I loved the old skeleton key that was used to lock the room.
Breakfast made by the owner was a typical Belgium style with a basket of breads, muffins, cheese, meats, eggs and bacon to order, coffee, OJ and homemade jellies not to mention the homemade yogurt served with a cup of delicious fresh fruit. What can I say, breakfast was filling and absolutely wonderful.
There is a walking and bike path by the gorgeous view while eating breakfast and the B&B has two bikes to use for your enjoyment. You can walk in the main door, but if you are going to be late, there is a separate side door you can use to access your room. The comfort, warmth, beautiful view, delicious breakfast and charming owner made our stay so complete. He also provided a cot for our daughter to stay with us for a few nights, which was so kind. I would highly recommend this giet and would stay there again!

A true gem at the banks of River Meuse - quiet and relaxing stay in scenic surroundings

This gem is charming located in scenic surroundings on the banks of the Meuse River. Orivage is ideal for relaxing stays with options for visiting nearby towns of Namur and Dinant - home town of the inventor of saxophone, Adolphe Sax - as well as the scenic tour to Maredsous Abbey or walks in the nature along the river. From the nearby viewpoint Les 7 Meuses you may overlook the meanders of Meuse River in a stunning view.
Rooms are large and light tastfull decorated with view over the river. Jacques and family are amazing hosts caring for you and helpful advising about tour options and walks. The day starts with an excellent breakfast with fresh homemade and local products. We are looking forward to return to Orivage.
