Located on the waterfront, Discovery Parks - Devonport is in East Devonport, a neighborhood in Devonport. Devonport Regional Gallery and Bass Strait Maritime Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Home Hill and Don River Railway. Traveling with kids? Consider House of Anvers and Splash Devonport Aquatic and Leisure Centre. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing. While you're here, you can enjoy all the comforts of home and more, including a full-sized refrigerator/freezer and a stovetop, as well as an LCD TV and a coffee/tea maker. Other amenities include laundry facilities, towels, kitchenware and utensils, and a picnic area.

Norfolk Island and Tasmania 2026
Great cabin, No5. Nice quiet park on the outskirts of Devonport East 10 min drive to CBD.
Caravan park short walk to the sea via a park just adjacent to the Caravan Park. We watched the Spirit of Tasmania leave the river both nights.
Cabin has good kitchen, fridge, Stove and Oven, microwave, usual coffee tea making.
Dining table with 4 chairs, sofa, air-conditioner and TV
Bathroom is a bit small but adequate. Lots of soaps, shampoos and conditioner.
Separate toilet. 2 Queen size beds in 2 rooms.
Deck with table and 2 chairs.
Very clean and comfortable.

Don’t waste your time - go elsewhere!!
But that is where it ends.
Yes it is close to the S O T terminal - and this the reason why we stayed.
But dont waste your breath asking to be near facilities - I specifically rang and requested same as we are in a motorhome and required a powered site.
So how did we get to be put in the furtherest site to the bathrooms?
I Counted 10 empty sites closer than where we were placed.
The sites were barren, desolate and muddy. Seemed to be part of an industrial estate and the noise was awful even on an early Saturday morning.
Frankly, it was so bad I wanted to turn round and get back on the Spirit to go home!!!
Yes the ship was running late and the CP did leave instructions for late arrivals.
Don’t stay here - there are much better!!

Enjoyed a two night stay. Rooms comfortable, good views of the water. Very quiet and clean.
