A Wonderful Setting for a Very Special Celebration
I recently stayed at Radisson Blu Aruba for my 45th birthday celebration with a group of family and friends, and the experience was incredibly special from beginning to end.
The property itself was beautiful, comfortable and very well suited for a group celebration. The location was excellent and central to everything we needed. The beach is only about three minutes away, and the hotel provides complimentary shuttle transportation, which made getting back and forth very easy.
It was also remarkably quiet. Noise was never an issue during our stay, which I really appreciated, especially with a group that included both adults and children. The hotel felt genuinely family friendly while still maintaining a polished, relaxed atmosphere.
Cleanliness was top tier. Our condos were cleaned every morning, and the hotel consistently felt fresh, well maintained and cared for. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay.
I also felt the property offered very good value for money, especially because the accommodations are condo-style rather than standard hotel rooms. Each condo includes a microwave and refrigerator, which is incredibly convenient, especially for families or longer stays. The larger suites and penthouses offer even more, with fully equipped kitchens that include stovetops and cooking utensils. That extra space and flexibility made a real difference for our group.
The amenities also added to the experience. The gym was convenient and well maintained, which was a nice option for those who wanted to keep up with their routine while traveling.
One of the first things that made an impression was the effort the hotel put into making my birthday feel personal. My condo was decorated with birthday balloons, and I was welcomed with a thoughtful birthday setup that included a beautiful cake and welcome gifts from the hotel. Walking in and seeing everything prepared was such a lovely surprise and immediately set the tone for the celebration.
The communication before and throughout our stay was excellent. We had multiple activities and events taking place over several days, so there were a lot of moving pieces, but the team was on hand at every point. They were responsive, flexible, supportive and consistently friendly.
They were also extremely helpful during the planning process, including recommending local vendors and helping connect me with the right people for different parts of the celebration. For someone organizing an event from another country, that kind of support was invaluable.
What meant a lot to me was that none of my guests had complaints about the hotel experience. With a group, that says a lot. Everyone felt supported and well taken care of throughout the stay.
My birthday dinner was another major highlight. The catering and kitchen teams did a wonderful job with the food, service and overall execution of the evening. The hotel also helped secure a DJ and coordinated the AV setup, which made the event feel much more complete and professionally executed. Everything came together beautifully, from the atmosphere and music to the meal and birthday cake.
What stood out throughout the stay was the teamwork across the entire hotel. From the marketing and sales team to concierge, housekeeping, catering and kitchen staff, everyone we encountered was warm, professional and genuinely helpful. You could see that the departments communicated and worked together, which made a significant difference when hosting a multi-day celebration with a group.
Asanya Foster-Wouters was an important part of that experience and helped coordinate many of the details behind the scenes, including vendor connections, event logistics, our beach event and an upgrade for my mother’s condo. Even when she was away from the property, she made sure responsibilities were delegated and that we continued to be supported. I was also especially grateful for the calm and care shown when my sister experienced a medical emergency during our stay.
For me, the most memorable part was that the hospitality felt personal. There were so many thoughtful touches, from the birthday decorations and welcome setup to the way the staff responded whenever we needed something. We felt welcomed, celebrated and cared for.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at the Radisson Blu Aruba. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and genuine hospitality.

Peter greeted us upon arrival, immediately took care of our bags, brought us up to our room, and took the time to show us all the features and make sure we were completely comfortable. A Last-Minute Booking That Turned Into the Best Decision!
We booked the Radisson Blu Aruba very last minute after arriving at another property that was extremely disappointing and deciding we couldn’t stay there. What started as a stressful situation completely turned around the moment we arrived at the Radisson Blu.
From the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. While we were standing in line waiting to check in, we were offered water and Prosecco, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch after the experience we had just come from.
Then we met Leo at the front desk, and he truly made our arrival even better. He has such an amazing personality—warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He took the time to tell us about the property, answer our questions, and make sure we were comfortable. When we mentioned that our flight wasn’t until later the following day, he even accommodated us with a late checkout, which we greatly appreciated. It’s those little things that make such a difference when traveling.
We also had a wonderful experience at the on-site restaurant. Our waitress was so personable, and we really enjoyed our conversation with her. The service throughout the property felt genuine rather than forced, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
And the rooftop pool—absolutely beautiful! It was peaceful, relaxing, and probably one of my favorite parts of the property. The atmosphere was exactly what we needed after our hectic start to the trip.
Sometimes an unexpected change of plans leads you somewhere better, and that was definitely the case for us. What began as a disappointing hotel experience elsewhere turned into such a great stay at the Radisson Blu Aruba. We only wish we had booked here from the beginning!

A true paradise
The service at this hotel is exceptional. Everyone is very warm and friendly, and all seem to speak multiple languages fluently, including English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papamiento. The minute we walked in, one of the staff members showed us around and carried our luggage to our room. Unfortunately, I forgot his name, but I do remember another employee in the same position named Santos. These guys also drive a small shuttle to Palm Beach every 30 minutes, even though the beach is only about a three-minute walk away.
The room was clean, spacious, and came with a microwave, as well as a balcony overlooking the swimming pools. The hotel is also in a very convenient location. There are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance, but the hotel is just far enough away from the busiest areas that nighttime noise was never an issue.
As for the amenities, the main family pool is large enough to comfortably swim laps. There is also a hot tub with jets, which is especially relaxing at night. On the upper floor, there is an adults-only infinity pool with a great view. It uses salt water rather than the usual chlorinated water, which was another nice touch. Outside of pools, they have a spa, as well as a relatively decent fitness center by hotel standards, which has free weights, treadmills, a back machine, leg extension machine, bicep machine, and yoga mats.
As mentioned above, the hotel is very close to Palm Beach. I had read that the beach tends to get packed, but during our visit in early September, we had no trouble finding places to sit or available umbrellas. The water is phenomenal. The waves are almost nonexistent, making it incredibly calm and relaxing. There are also plenty of activities available to book directly along the beach, including snorkeling, sailing, jet skiing, parasailing, fishing, and more.
Lastly, the weather is incredible. It is consistently hot, but Aruba is also very windy, which keeps the heat from becoming unbearable. The regular fresh water is also safe to drink, which is convenient, given the heat. I would definitely recommend wearing SPF 50, though, because the sun is extremely strong. Aruba is also located outside the main hurricane belt, so severe tropical weather / rainfall is less of a concern than it is in many other Caribbean destinations.
Overall, I had an excellent experience here. Between the genuinely friendly service, spacious and comfortable rooms, great pools, convenient location, and easy access to one of the nicest beaches I have ever visited, there was very little to complain about. I was so pleased with the staff overall from the front desk to the bellhop -Deandre took our bags to the room and as we were walking he gave us a verbal tour of the property. Janelke who works at the front desk was pleasant and accommodating. She remembered our name whenever we walked by the front desk , and was very informative when we checked in as to what was happening at the resort and on the vicinity . Deandre told us to check out the rooftop infinity pool , which also has a sunset restaurant less than five feet away.
It was awesome! This was an extra bonus considering how beautiful and spacious the room was. I loved that the resort had only been opened five years and that it had achieved LEED certification status.
I have been to Aruba six times but never stayed at the Radisson before . That will definitely change because I liked the Radisson over the other places I stayed!
