Great value hotel.

5 star rating for great value, clean hotel. Small rooms but it had its own bathroom and the bed was comfortable. My WiFi worked really well.
They were able to arrange a massage for me in the room.. and it was wonderful.
I enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant below. Dinner was ok….
All the receptionist spoke perfect English and were happy to exchange my FX from us$ into kz or the other way… at the official bank rate. This is a big deal as it saves me a lot of time finding a bank with currency and queuing. I’m sure the hotel takes the profit in the black market … and I’m fine with that. I won’t myself be transacting in the black market.

Much confusion on arrival at the airport

The only reason for me to give 2 stars, and not 1, is the attentive care of the receptionist who served me, but in general my experience was disastrous. Unlike the previously combined with the hotel, there was no one waiting for me at the airport, and instead of taking a transfer to the hotel, I had to take a taxi and was, without surprises, totally exhausted (the price of a ride, usually around 10 thousand kwanzas, was 40 thousand!). The room is small and without window. Bed with old and uncomfortable bedding. The water pressure in the shower and tap does not work right. Internet Wi-Fi works well, and air conditioning too. Excellent receptionist: the hotel only needs a beautiful renovation and better organize its provision of services, especially with regard to the transfer.

Small hotel with helpful, English-speaking staff

I was in Room 205. It’s a small room, but big enough, with a TV, AC, fridge (which did double duty for me as a luggage rack) and small table and chair. There is a shower but no bath. If you prefer bar soap to liquid soap, bring your own.
The hotel is down a small street and about 10 minutes by car to the airport. The front desk staff speak English and are very friendly and helpful. I was going to Cabinda on the day I arrived in Luanda and had a few hours between flights. Thanks to the hotel’s proximity to the airport, I was easily able to get a cab to the hotel, leave most of my bags in storage until I returned the next day, and get back quickly to the airport. I would be happy staying here again if I come back to Luanda.

Pictures does not reflect the real deal!!

I was looking for a reasonable overnight hotel, from reviews I thought this could work. I was rather scared when we arrived at the hotel, the entrance and outside is not close to what they advertise.
The wifi is pretty much non exciting - the arranged driver never met me at the airport - the hotel reception is dark and the rooms extremely small.
I had another booking, but cancelled it and stayed at another hotel.
Despite my request for coffee before 7 am when breakfast starts, which was not ready, the lady simply just didn't bother.
The ONLY positive for me was Beatrice, the receptionist on duty, she did everything to keep me there and please me. Another positive was Mario, the owner, who very kindly took me to the airport when another driver never pitched.

Awful all around

Poor location- it is tucked away in a bad neighborhood and quite hard to find. It’s not really all that close to the airport. The taxi couldn’t get to the front of the hotel because cars were parked in the ‘road’ in front.
The hotel is very unclean; lobby smells bad, the carpet on the stairs is filthy and my friend had a turd in the toilet upon Check-in . In the second room he had roaches.
Credit card machine didn’t work and ‘customer service’ was limited.
For the money, it was a bad value.
