Unlivable
Awful experience of a hot night in Basel in this apartment with no ventilation or possibility of opening the windows! Unlivable. Obviously, the absence of staff on-site does not help matters. We gave up our second night. Customer service response: "Unfortunately, we have no influence over the temperature inside the apartment". If not for the comfort of its guests, what does the host feel responsible for?

I recently stayed at VISION APARTMENTS Basel and overall had a comfortable visit. The space itself was clean and well-presented, and the location made it easy to get around the city.
There were a few areas where the experience could be improved. Communication with customer service was a bit slow at times—especially when we were trying to arrange luggage storage prior to check-in, which took longer than expected to coordinate.
Additionally, the TV did not appear to have access to local or news channels, which may be something to note for guests who like to stay connected to local programming. Although I have called and complained a couple of times.
Lastly, some clearer instructions for the lighting system would have been helpful. It took a bit of trial and error to figure out which switches controlled which lights.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay, and with a few small adjustments, the experience could be even smoother for future guests.

Worst experience during 10 day trip
Location is fine, it is central but you receive no information on Parking. However, due to other terrible reasons for the property we didn’t even get to enjoy the city.
The room we had was full of stains on floors and furniture. Cleanliness was at a terrible level: hairs everywhere in the bathroom as if it was not cleaned at all. Ventilation in the bathroom could not be turned off so that was buzzing all night making it very difficult to sleep.
Worst thing were the molds in the ventilation that was affecting our breathing. That was the icing on the cake and as such we vacated the apartment after the first night. Asking for a refund for the second night was bluntly refused by customer service.
It is clear to say this was the most costly stay we had during a 10day holiday and it is easy to say that bathroom facilities on campings were better than this one.

Booked hotel for pool it was advertised as all year round heated pool it closed in September
Room wasn’t clean bin was full of rubbish and cigarette nubs
Very dusty radiator grubby walls soap dispenser was broken curtains didn’t close bed was too low to floor no usb chargers and no towels was changed

Extremely disappointing stay — would NOT recommend.
Our experience with this accommodation has been unacceptable from the very beginning.
1. The check-in process was a complete nightmare.
Their system was not working, and even after uploading all our documents several times, we kept receiving a message that the check-in could not be completed because of a “system error.”
I contacted customer service repeatedly, but instead of helping, they kept sending useless standard emails and offered zero real support.
After a long, frustrating, and totally unnecessary process, we finally received the entry code — something that should have taken a few seconds.
2. The heating situation in the room is absurd.
The heating is officially turned OFF, yet the room is extremely hot. We were forced to keep all the windows wide open just to breathe normally, which means constant street noise and no chance to rest properly.
3. The pillows are extremely poor and absolutely uncomfortable.
Sleeping on them is practically impossible.
Nothing about this stay matches what was advertised. The service, comfort, and communication are far below any acceptable standard.
I strongly advise others to avoid this accommodation.
