A little slice of heaven in the Tuscan countryside
We had a truly magical stay in Podere Sole, a plant based paradise! From the moment we arrived, Cecilia, Sabrina and Joe made us feel right at home. The room was charming and spacious, with a gorgeous balcony view of the Tuscan countryside.
Our days started with an incredible vegan breakfast, made with fresh ingredients from the farm and local area. This delicious feast kept us nicely full as we explored the charming Trequanda, in addition to other nearby towns such as Pienza and Montepulciano. Our hosts gave us invaluable tips and recommendations, such as the thermal baths of San Filippe, hidden in a beautiful forest.
When we went on the go, we were enjoying the grounds of the Podere, which provide loads of opportunity for gentle walks along the olive groves and quiet places of reflection. Their two dogs were super friendly, and always brought a smile to our face when we met them.
Evenings were spent enjoying a bottle of Tuscan wine on the terrace under the stars - simply magical! We were fortunate enough to even taste their own wine and olive oil produced on the farm, which were both so delicious! We can’t wait to visit again!

Wonderul Bed & Breakfast in Tuscany
We had the pleasure of being among the first guests to stay at Podere Sole in May 2024, along with three other adult family members. It was a fabulous visit. Upon our arrival, Sabrina showed us to our rooms and made us comfortable. We then enjoyed delicious olives, grown on the property, while sipping wine and sitting on the patio overlooking the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
The guest rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfasts were wonderful, including Sabrina’s home baked breads, jams and sweets. The excellent cappuccinos were a real treat!
Cecelia, Sabrina and Joe are wonderful hosts who made our stay the highlight of our trip to Italy and Greece. Tuscany is beautiful with more places to see and explore than we could possibly fit into one visit. Cecelia helped us get the most of our time by arranging an Italian cooking class at a nearby restaurant and cooking school, Locanda Demetra. We prepared and dined on several lovely pasta dishes and tiramisu. Cecelia also arranged for a driver to take us to the places we wanted to visit.
After this wonderful experience, we plan to go back to Podere Sole for a much longer stay. We highly recommend Podere Sole to anyone who wants to experience a beautiful and authentic Tuscan vacation hosted by some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
