Wonderful experience!
We stayed at this property for the long weekend of April 25th and had a great time. The room was welcoming and clean, the location splendid, immersed in the garden that Roberto takes care of with love and passion. We couldn't enjoy the swimming pool only because it was out of season. Sinalunga is also an excellent starting point for visiting the Val d'Orcia and the wonderful Sienese villages. In short, a place that we recommend and to which we will return!

A place to return to. Real gem
This is a wonderful discovery, cozy and super quiet, clean rooms and a splendid pool, one of the very best I have ever seen! A place to return to. The placement in the old town and magic atmosphere, very authentic.

Great location and charming host
Had a lovely two weeks stay in La Volta during August. We were lucky to be around when the sagra was in town, but even after it had packed up the accordions, the village has a lovely very untouristy feel - really living like a local, filling up water at the spring tap in the piazza after coffee and pastries in the morning and then eating gelato with the locals at 10pm. The apartment suited us just fine, even though there was a family upstairs above us, we didn't hear any noise from them at all. The pool was great too. Roberto is a cheerful host and nothing was too much trouble.

A lovely trip
We stayed in La Limonaia for our honeymoon and had an absolutely fantastic time. The owner of the appartments was brilliant, friendly and extremely helpful (for example he drove us to the supermarket as we came without a car, and took us on a tour of hilltop towns in the area for a small charge). The gardens and swimming pool were beautiful and well kept. The appartment was great, particularly the secluded shaded area outside where we could sit and eat. A minutes walk away is the centre of Sinalunga (old town) which is completely unspoilt and full of character. Highly recommend!

Second visit as wonderful as the first
We returned to Sinalunga after our first visit five years ago because we had such a wonderful experience the first time. Once again, we weren't disappointed. Roberto is a wonderful landlord and the property is as beautiful as always. We stayed in the smallest apartment, La Limonaia. We had the place to ourselves for most of the week. Very peaceful and quiet. We were happy to see that the cats have multiplied significantly since our last stay (but don't worry if you're not a cat person, they'll hide unless you seek them out). We will keep going back to Fonte del Castagno as long as it is there!
