Good value accommodation of a high standard

Room was large, well appointed and quite clean. Large windows with good curtains. Lovely bathtub and separate rainforest style shower. Plenty of hot water available immediately. Only 2x 500ml bottles of drinking water. No minibar items in room and QR code to minbar menu didn’t work for me. Temperature control in room didn’t work well; tried to cool from 26c on arrival but overnight increased to 32c which made sleeping difficult despite the comfy mattress and linen. Thankfully the large windows could open to cool down the room. Not sure if the issue was due to the user or equipment. Breakfast was excellent, with a very wide selection of Chinese and western cuisine, all of which was very fresh and tasty. Coffee at breakfast, and from the lobby cafe was poor, but normal for China. Check-in and check-out were smooth with assistance from friendly staff.

Hotel in good condition. The only problem is the lack in communication. The staff can speak only Chinese and one should thought for an International Hotel chain some staff should be able to speak English. Specific to check in.

The hotel is pretty good but they allow people smoking in the room. My room was assigned right across the smokers who keeps smoking with his door wide open. I am having a hard time sleeping coz I can smells the smoke.
