Top view, Top Location, Top Hospitality
Our top experience here already started with the contact before we arrived. I mailed Nela, the owner, we I needed a taxi or if we could walk from the harbour to her apartment. "No need for a taxi, I will pick you up". And she was perfect on time. When we entered the appartment we stayed on the balcony for at least 5 minutes to admire the view. And rech morning when we woke up this view kept suprising us. It is like watching a painting (and we have stayed in beautifull hoteles/apartments).
The appartment is brand new and luxurious. Perfectly equiped kitchen, very comfortable beds and spacious (we had the bigger apartment).
The hospitality of Nela and her husband is great. On our first evening she cam to appoligize because the cleaning lady told her she wasn't sure if she cleaned the second sink in the bathroom (which wasn't the case; the whole apartment was spotless).
You have to walk a few steps to the beach where the famous Hula Hula bar is located on the right hand side. To the left there is a smaller, less posh, beachclub. Further you will find here a guy who rents boats (tip from Nela). Rent it here,; he's is extremely friendly and the costs are much lower (30%) then in the centre. The walk to the centre is roughly 15 minutes. The is a supemarket and good restaurant in 2 minutes walking distance.
When we go to Hvar again this will definitely be uot place to stay. A ittle bit more expensive then other apartments but fully worth the money.
We weren't allowed to order a taxi: Nela brought us back to the harbour when we left.

What a View
The owners of this apartment are friendly and helpful. We were collected from the car park at the back of the old town after arriving by ferry and en route to the apartment shown areas of interest, location of the local supermarket and the walking route to the beach path.
The apartment is on the top of the owners house and there are quite a few steps to navigate but the effort is worth it. The interior is decorated in neutral tones, bright with lots of natural light. Patio doors open from the living room onto a large terrace with incredible views over the nearby islands. There is another terrace on the side accessed from the bedroom which is a real sun trap. The apartment is spacious, well furnished and equipped, and tea, coffee, water and fruit juice, with oranges from the garden were supplied. Everything was in good condition and spotlessly clean. For two people it was a perfect base.
There is a decent supermarket within 5 minutes walk, and above the supermarket is an excellent pizza restaurant.
We stayed for 3 nights and would have no hesitation in returning. At the end of our stay , the owners drove back to the harbour to enable us to catch our ferry back to Split. Such lovely people.

Breathtaking view
"Top View" is really underselling this apartment - the view is incredible, straight across the sea to the islands, absolutely beautiful. Apartment was immaculate and catered for every need, large fridge freezer, lovely kitchen area, very nicely fitted shower room, and the best feature - the balcony.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were happy, whilst being totally unobtrusive. Nice quiet area with a decent supermarket just 2 minutes walk.
We loved it and hope to return one day.
