Its a great place, but don't tell eveyone!
We have stayed at Sofia's a few times now and we keep going back! possibly all you need to know I guess, but if you are looking for a comfortable apartment that is fairly standard Greek accommodation then this is the place to go. They have a few apartments suitable for a couple or up to 4 people (possibly extra with pop-up beds and cots etc). We have used both the ground-floor apartment for 2 and upper-floors 2 bedroom apartments. The apartments are clean with fresh bedding and towels delivered every few days. The owners are around (next door) but never intrude, but they are lovely and attentive if you have any questions. Generally we use them for sleeping, washing and relaxing in the evening so we don't need many creature comforts. I would say they are not really suitable if you just stay there and don't go out during the day, but who goes on holiday to watch TV all day! There is an area outside on the ground-floor for sitting outside and upper-floors have balconies to catch the sun early in the morning and in to the evening as well. The location is perfect for us as its just a short 2 minute walk to the harbour front where you can take your pick of tavernas and bars. You won't be disturbed by the noises from the harbour once you are back 'home' as its set slightly back and raised above it, you also have new (in 2025) double glazing on the windows and doors and aircon in the rooms. There is parking next to it which is also handy as you won't want to be walking too far after a long day relaxing at the beach! We visit Sivota at least twice a year and this is our preferred place to stay. I don't usually do reviews as, quite frankly, we don't want others finding the gems we do and over populating them, but Sofia's deserve 100% praise for what they offer at very affordable rates. No frills, comfortable, convenient, clean and roomy.
