It's terrible, terrible!
It was really terrible and threatening not to come near there. Stinking, sleepy and without any remote access from the main road on it with terrible luggage. No water flow in the shower.

HUGE SCAM!!! Don't GO!!! New name: Old city center
They changed my booking date so I can't leave a review on Booking. The staff also threatened that they would report me to their manager so I wouldn't dare complain.
This place is hell on Earth and here's why:
I don’t know who designed this hotel, but the layout is completely wrong and just plain weird.
The tower-like shape means sound travels easily—any noise from the reception echoes up. It’s impossible to relax.
Internet is painfully slow and keeps disconnecting.
The rooms are absolutely depressing.
Staff are unprofessional, untrained, and sketchy. The least friendly people I’ve encountered—zero management skills.
When I arrived, their system was down. Took forever to check me in. Two other guests left for other hotels—I stayed only because they promised I’d get my own room the next day. That never happened.
Took them THREE days to return my change.
The toilet seems designed for giants—towel rack too high, bathtub awkwardly elevated.
“Toiletries provided” is a joke: one tiny soap, the tiniest toothpaste ever, and a toothbrush. That’s it.
The bed springs were literally poking through—I could feel them all night.
The toilet smelled disgusting and old.
The main light switch is located upstairs, away from the bed. At night, it’s pitch black and dangerous to move around.
No elevators. The restaurant is on the 4th floor, so get ready to climb every single morning.
Poor lighting adds to the overall depressing vibe.
Was promised a room with a view—got a wall.
Nowhere near any supermarket or basic convenience.
The carpet was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen.
Charger next to the bed didn’t even work.
The sink tap kept falling off.
The chairs were wobbly and unstable.
Water pressure went from a trickle to a blast without warning.
The pictures they have uploaded do not match the hotel at all.

Worst hotel in Baku
scam company! photos are of different hotel, only reception and area is correct.
rooms are HORRIFIC in real life, they only accept cash so they can't refund you, the free airport transfer guy is in on the scam and drives you to get cash on the way telling you 'i just spoke to hotel, card machine is broken'.
1. Scam begins with their free airport transfer, he says while driving 'Hey I'm on the phone to the hotel and their card machine isn't working, do you have cash?' when you say no, he drives you to money conversion place to get it. I later fond out they don't have a card machine and never did. The do this to avoid banks taking back the money.
2. The photos are from a different hotel, only reception photo is real, the rooms are hell on earth in real life! And all have old dirty carpets, bathrooms that don't work correctly and and bad state, curtains that don't close.
3. I asked if I can get a refund 30 minutes after check-in, they said no. On the 2nd day I saw people who had paid for 14 nights, saw the rooms then asked for refund and were denied, they went to the police to report the scam. Another large group, luckily they asked to see the rooms first, then refused to pay and just left as they were so bad and nothing like the photos.
4. You can't get your suitcase to the hotel because taxi's can't get into old town, so you have to carry it up hill for 5 minutes.
Stay away from this people!

Scam hotel
Despite previous reviews we managed to check in and paid the price advertised. Then summonsed to reception to be told by the manager we were at the wrong hotel had to pay an extra $1000 cash - unsurprisingly the card reader was broken - to stay as it was Grand Prix weekend. This despite two other members of staff checking our booking and accepting the payment quoted. It was pointed out to the manager that this hotel was at the same address as our booking. This just started lots of swearing and abuse from the manager. Also met 3 other groups who met the same situation. Absolute scam and avoid the place

Terrible!
Worst accommodation you've ever had to stay in! Calling it a hotel doesn't turn your tongue. The sign at the entrance contains only three words Restaurant, cafe, bar. You won't find the above either. Sometimes there's water in the cooler. The breakfast room can only look at the city as it is on the top floor. The breakfast itself was a miserable sight. The sausages didn't even bother to clear the packaging. Payment by credit card is not possible, only in cash. True, they took you to the ATM. "Number fund" to say is terrible, nothing to say. The shower has a shower and a hole!!! in the tiles. If you book more than 2 nights, you are entitled to a free airport transfer. It's a separate song. The day before you arrive by wotsap (English only) you arrange an appointment, send tickets, flight number. AND... When they arrived, they received their luggage (all according to schedule), in the arrival hall they did not find our driver among the greeters. I write, "where are you?" No answer. Calling. No answer. Forty minutes later, he made contact. To the question, "when will you be at the airport?" Answer: "In an hour"! An hour later, he really came for us. On the way to the hotel, he started an "old song" (as in previous reviews) that the hotel was full, there was a mistake, and he would take us elsewhere. But we turned on "fool," and insisted he take us to our "hotel" after all. There we said we weren't going anywhere, and an hour later we were settled in. After fleeing and leaving this location, we received a message that our reservation has been postponed to July 2026. The fraudsters wouldn't pay Booking a commission. It's like our trip never happened! Never! Never mess with this place!
